1. I read it, usually within a working day.
2. If it sounds like guttering, pointing or condensation rather than the insulation, I’ll say so first. That could save you thousands.
3. If your insulation might still be under a guarantee, I’ll tell you how to check before you pay anyone.
4. If you want quotes, I pass your details to firms covering your postcode, only with your go-ahead.
5. You compare itemised quotes. Nobody is obliged to anything.

1. Roughly when the insulation went in, and who fitted it, if you know
2. Where the damp or cold is: which rooms, which side of the house
3. Whether it’s worse after rain
4. Whether a surveyor or buyer has mentioned it
5. Photos of the damp patches and the outside walls. Email them to [email protected] after sending the form.

You pay me nothing. If a firm pays me anything, it’s a flat fee per introduction, the same for every firm. I don’t work with claims companies.
